Recently after my garage door opened about 2″ too little and caused me to rip off the shark fin antenna on my suv and rack up a large repair bill. I decided to replace the opener with a nice chamberlain belt driven myq (internet connected) model. I use home assistant and there is an integration for chamberlain doors built in. I have had a lot of fun setting up and trouble shooting my open garage on wemos D1. My brother will still use the one I built for him so I’m sure i’ll stop in here every now and then for updates. I also have a pizero sprinkler setup using Sprinklerspi by Richard Zimmerman which i will be converting to opensprinkler software since Richard has long stopped updating the project. I even want to get my own wunderground weather station going and may look into rays work on decoding accu-rite data. Ray is just a plethora or information and interesting projects!
