wrong distance readings, failed hardware?

My OG was not always giving me accurate distance readings, so I put it on a nightly cron job to reboot in the hopes that would help. No luck.

Then today I upgraded my firmware to 1.24, and after upgrading successfully, all the data was blank:

Door: UKNOWN
Distance: 0
read count: 0

I reloaded 1.23 and while it does say door closed (which is correct), it shows car present (wrong), distance 90 cm (wrong – settings are 50/150 for door/car threshold and it is 300+ cm to garage floor and there is no car there, so distance should be 300ish).

I’m wondering if I have failing/failed hardware? It’s probably 6+ years old, inside my unheated garage. Blue light happily blinking, wifi good (-61), etc.

Any thoughts?

i think i solved it by replacing the usb power supply. I guess after 8 years the old one was not being consistent.
