Magnetic sensor in combination with ultrasonic sensor

Hello,
Recently I bought OG device and I’m very happy with it. Great features were added siding the years. Congratulations for the hard work!
I tried searching the forum but didn’t found the answer for what I was looking for. So…
I’m using the OG device (FW v1.1.1) in a garage with roller door and decided to install a magnetic switch on the floor hoping that I can use the ultrasonic sensor for vehicle detection. Unfortunately selecting external sensor disables the ultrasonic sensor… Is there a chance that in the future firmware there will be a possibility to use both sensors?

Yes, some users in the past have requested this feature: i.e. the ability to use both distance sensor and magnetic sensor together. I have added this to the todo list and will consider this for future firmware update.
