Door state is the opposite of what it should be?

Hey guys – i got my opengarage installed (it may be too close to the end of the garage door, but it’s up there) on my ceiling. For some reason, it shows my door as open when it’s closed and vice versa.

How can I switch it or troubleshoot it? I changed it to a side mount and it reads correctly, but it can’t do a vehicle threshold. Maybe I put it in the wrong place on my ceiling?

What type of garage door do you have? If the logic is reversed, the simplest fix is to go to Settings and change the ‘Mount Type’ from Ceiling Mount to Side Mount. That reverses the logic.
