I sent an email to the support contact but I thought I would post here as well. I recently purchased three of the opengarage.io. Two out of the three installed flawlessly and I’m very happy with them. The third one I’m having trouble with. The network setup and web UI are working properly. I installed it the same way as previous. The web UI recognizes that the garage door is opened or closed so the sensor seems to be working just fine.

When I send the open or close door command, I hear the typical warning beep followed by the click of the relay. However after the click nothing happens.

If I remove the wires from the opengarage.io unit and connect the end of those wires, the garage door opens and closes normally. That implies to me that the other end of the connection is just fine. However when I connect these wires to the opengarage.io unit it does not trigger the garage door opener to work. If I manually click the button on the opengarage.io unit, I do hear a click of the relay. However again this does not trigger the door opener to actuate. Could this be a bad relay on this unit?

Sounds to me like you have diagnosed it pretty well. If touching the wires together triggers it but not the device there is a problem.

Now it could be the relay or it could be the connectors or their connection to the relay. So there is more than one possible reason but they all would appear to be related to the device or you are not getting good connection of the wires to the device.
