Ray-not sure the exact issue, but when I load a new board with OG 1.1.0 that has been compiled with ESP Core 2.5.0 it won’t connect to my WiFi. I turned on DEBUG and it appears to work, but never completes the connection. After several days and multiple ESP boards and routers I rolled back to Core version 2.4.2 and everything started working. To make the issue confusing, an upgrade from 1.0.9 using code compiled with Core 2.5.0 seems to work fine.

I haven’t tried Core 2.5.0 yet so I don’t really know what the issue is. I may have to take a look at the 2.5.0 documentation to see what are the main changes.

It’s possible that maybe it changed flash memory layout. In that case, try to perform a factory reset (while the device is powered on, press and hold the on-board button for at least 10 seconds and release). It will go back to AP mode, and it might work after reset.

I have 2 OGs. I upgraded my first one to 110 using code Compiled with Core 2.5; it reconnected to wifi and looked OK, but in fact was dropping and reconnecting multiple times per hour. I recompiled with Core 2.4.2 and no drops…
The 2nd OG was the subject of the original post. Working great since loading with Core 2.4.2 compiled code.
