Have anyone successfully linked OpenGarage to Google home
(so I can check on garage door status and issue open/close commands, ideally geofencing) ?
I have not find any instructions / episodes through Google search or searching on Youtube.TIA
A while back we published an article about how to make OpenGarage work with Amazon Alexa:
“Alexa, Open Sprinkler Zone 1” — How to Use IFTTT with OpenSprinkler (and OpenGarage)
this is done through IFTTT which can connect Alexa or Google Home with your OpenGarage. The connection to OpenGarage can be done either through port forwarding or using the Blynk API (more secure). The steps are a bit technical, but try to see if the instructions make sense and if you need help we can provide more details.
